Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival is possibly the most awesome of the Disney festivals. I haven’t been to Food & Wine since leaving Orlando in 2009 and really couldn’t wait to go again. The best part being that I was going to be spending the day with friends – what a better way to catch up with friends than to drink and eat your way around the world?

Insert Break – The break consisted of rides! TestTrack, Finding Nemo (MY FAV!!), and Captain EO (very awesome and a must do before it goes away – talk about going back in time to a young Michael Jackson and young George Lucas!) The eating and drinking then resumed…

Stop 8: Australia Food: Grilled Lamb Chop with mint pesto and potato crunchies
Stop 9: China Food: Beijing Roasted Duck in a steamed bun with Hoisin sauce paired with Happy Lychee w/tequila & vodka
Stop 10: Germany Food: Roast Bratwurst in a Pretzel roll
Stop 11: Morocco – Sangria
Stop 12: Brazil Food: Crispy Pork Belly with Black beans, tomato and cilantro
The overall favorite of the day was the Pork belly from Brazil – it was the perfect combo of fat and meat and crispy – it paired very well with the sangria from Morocco. The second favorite was the filet mignon from Canada, followed closely by the short ribs from France. It was a great day and, considering I am now a Disney Annual Pass Holder, I look forward to more Disney magic in my future.
